T's Trophy

Pottergate Golf Club staged a fund-raising day in memory of Teresa Galjaard who sadly passed away earlier this year after being diagnosed with Bladder Cancer. The Bladder Cancer Research UK charity was the chosen beneficiary for the day.

96 golfers took part in a competition with every competitor contributing to the charity. The evening saw some entertainment offered by a local band and a meal was served to over 50 invited guests.

The raffle had over 150 prizes donated by local businesses and individuals and members and visitors purchased numerous tickets. Several individuals donated cash amounts to the fund.

We currently have a running total of £3500, but we expect to reach £4000 later this week. UPDATE - final total was a magnificent £4500
