A wonderful chance to be part of our enthusiastic team and the Pottergate future!
We look forward to hearing from you.
Thank you, Gail, Richard & the Team.
We have a well established team but we often employ extra staff through our busier summer months,
we currently have staff in the following roles:
Front of house staff who meet and greet visitors and members and respond to their requests for service, which could include booking in for golf, selling goods from the bar or taking food orders and handing them to the kitchen team. We would expect these staff to restock the bar and handle phone calls between customers.
Kitchen Staff prepare and serve our quality food to our customers throughout our kitchen opening hours and would be expected to help prepare meals as required for functions and to help ensure our Sunday carvery has all the required elements ready for cooking.
Front of House Supervisor ensures that the front of house and kitchen staff work efficiently and that all required products and services are ordered and supplied in the required timescales. Stock levels will be monitored and regular communication should ensure that the correct volume of supplies are available at the correct time. We would expect the team to handle any booking requirements for functions or meals and the supervisor will ensure all the correct processes are followed
Business Development Manager will endeavour to greet new business opportunities and maximise our existing business links. They will build relationships with our business partners and look to encourage membership take-up throughout the area. They may work with schools, agencies and other organisations to look at further opportunities. They will develop a portfolio of social evenings to add to the golf club calendar.
Green Keeping Staff will look after the golf course and its presentation. They will liaise with suppliers to ensure the optimum products and associated costs are available to deliver the course to its full potential and to maximise its availability to play. They will maintain the equipment and ensure all safety standards are adhered to.
