Then the members, guests and visitors enjoyed hot food provided by Kevin and Teresa Galjaard. A huge thank you for their generosity.

As the time drew nearer, all those present were handed a glass of Prosecco as they headed to the Beacon. A big thank you to Greta for providing the Bubbly.

The Beacon was kindly provided by Winston & Sue Bailey, another big thank you. The Beacon was lit by Abigail and Winston, thank you for a task well done.

It was a splendid sight enjoyed by one and all. A bugler played “Majesty” which was especially composed for this event. A toast to her Majesty was followed by a rousing cheer and all singing “God Save the Queen”. Everyone then retired to the Clubhouse to continue the festivities.

A huge thank you to, Kevin and Joe Souter for keeping the drinks flowing all evening.
Also, a big thank you to the unsung heroes who collected glasses all evening, disposed of the paper plates and tidy-up after the event.
With a final thank you to the Pottergate team and all the visitors that turned up that made this such a wonderful, momentous occasion.
