The weather was very kind and the 44 players enjoyed the sunshine. All the players, staff and some visitors watch the Captain’s fourball tee off and all the competitors had a guess at the combined driving distance of the 4, the winner was Andy Sherwood who guessed 650 yards which turned out to be the exact distance achieved! He kindly donated his prize to the St Barnabas cause. Alex Woolfson took his driver and executed a great strike which landed on the green and was within a couple of feet of the red flag, we were playing the yellow, but what a great shot! Kev, Richard Godbold an Tracy Sackree executed their shots safely.
All 11 teams of four were then sent on their way with a ‘shotgun’ start @ 09:10.

Two’s winners on the day were Dawn Law, Ian Bavin and John McGowan.
Runners Up were Roy Broad, Malc Lawson, Andy Robinson and Andy Sherwood with 93 points
Winners were Kev Galjaard, Tracy Sackree, Richard Godbold and Alex Woolfson with 95 points
