Pottergate has an extremely active Main Club Section, not only do we play internal club competitions but we are also members of the North Lincolnshire League.
Since we joined theNorth Lincolnshire League in 2007 Pottergate have finished in a creditable positions having finished in 2nd place for the first 2 seasons and gaining promotion to League 1. At the end of the 2011 season Pottergate became League Champions, and also becoming the Lincolnshire League Champions.
Robert Mawer has been elected Captain for the 2011/12 season. Gary has been a member at Pottergate for many years and was an integral part of the team that has gained promotion the last 2 seasons.
Gary would like to wish the members at Pottergate Golf Club all the best for the 2011 golfing year.
A list will apear shortly on the Main Club notice board asking those members who are interested in reresenting the club for the 2012 season to put their names and telephone number/s on the sheet provided.
Also in the 2012 season we shall be looking to hold B team matches with other clubs/organisations during the summer months.
