Tricky course which is not be be under estimated. Water ditches in play on most holes. The greens have lots of slopes and are tricky to read. Overall a good test of golf. The clubhouse welcome was great.

I am reasonably new to the game of Golf and reside in Branston and was looking for a club to join.Pottergate was the obvious choice so I made the decision to part with my money, but was this the right choice? (Absolutely)! Whilst researching Golf Clubs it became clear members all over the UK had opinions on how clubs should be run, snobbery, dress code etc and as we ease ourselves out of a global recession, as all businesses need to gain and keep memb
ers in aid to finance the day to day running of a local club. It seems the Golf world need look no further than our own Pottergate Golf Club, it's a simple solution. 1) Extend the hand of friendship from day one. 2) Add into the mix a wonderful and caring family (the new owners). 3) Adopt a committee which seems to put in 100% to everything they do. 4) Then finish with an array of welcoming members. Here we have it, a winning combination. On 2nd May I played my 1st comp Abigail's Cup. The course looked immaculate, the clubhouse warm and welcoming as were the staff and new owners. Throughout the day club members, committee and staff worked tirelessly to ensure everyone had a great time. My wife Anne joined me later and enjoyed the BBQ and a dance in the evening. We would like to extend our thanks to everyone who made my first comp memorable. Anne and I look forward to many more happy years at Pottergate Golf
Friendly 9-hole course that can be enjoyed by all
“Good quality 9-hole course that is keen to develop the junior golfers. Free pool table in the club house with a pleasent conservatory overlooking the 18th. Driving range usually quiet so you can collect your own balls and go again :-). My son (age 9) and I have recently joined ( #TRICK or #TREAT )”

I really did enjoy this course, I play to a 2 handicap at my much longer home club, but this course was a real test. If you think 9 hole courses are pitch and putt....think again!!!. The greens and the overall condition of the course is well maintained, and the welcome I received from the club professional and staff was second to none. Many thanks and I will be back, and I would highly recommend a visit.

An excellent little course offering a good variety of holes, some far more challenging than their modest yardages would suggest. Well maintained. Good value
